Fast Diagnostic & System Restorations

When cooling quits anywhere from Palm Beach Gardens to Fort Pierce, the heat doesn't wait for a convenient time — and neither do we. A/C Now runs same-day repair routes across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County, with stocked trucks and licensed technicians (License #CAC1820068) who fix the actual fault instead of selling you a system you don't need.

Repairs across this region share a pattern: equipment pushed hard by long humid summers and worn early by coastal salt air. Capacitors cook under continuous runtime, contactors pit from constant cycling, and afternoon storm surges take out control boards on higher-efficiency systems. Our trucks carry the common failure parts for the brands we see most — Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman — so most calls are diagnosed and fixed in one visit instead of a wait-for-parts callback. You always get an honest, flat-rate quote before any work begins, and a straight answer when a system is genuinely better replaced than repaired.

Same-Day AC Repair

What's Wrong with My AC?

Failed Capacitor

Failed Capacitor

If your outdoor fan hums but doesn't spin, the start/run capacitor has likely failed due to high operating heat limits.

Low Refrigerant

Low Refrigerant

If your lineset is freezing or the unit runs non-stop without cooling, a refrigerant leak is likely choking the system flow.

Clogged Drain Line

Clogged Drain Line

Condensate lines clog with algae over time, triggering the emergency float safety switch to shut down all system power.

Ductless Mini-Split Repair

A mini-split that stops cooling rarely fails the way a central system does. There is no ductwork to leak and no furnace-style blower to seize, so the usual culprits are different: the inverter board, a clogged coil or blower wheel behind the indoor head, a blocked condensate line, or a refrigerant leak at one of the flare fittings on the line-set.

We diagnose ductless systems on their own terms — reading fault codes off both the indoor and outdoor boards, checking the line-set flares that are the most common leak point on a mini-split, and testing the inverter drive before condemning a compressor. Because every head runs independently, one room going warm while the rest of the house stays cold is usually a single-zone fault rather than a whole-system failure, and it is normally the cheaper kind of repair.

HVAC Equipment & Environmental Factors on the Treasure Coast & Palm Beaches

A/C Now LLC provides same-day diagnostic air conditioning repairs across Florida's Treasure Coast, bringing locally owned discipline and flat-rate pricing to every service call. Our technical teams resolve cooling emergencies on all major HVAC brands.

Our repair solutions are tailored to local challenges: we address coastal salt-air corrosion in Jupiter, manage low-elevation drainage issues in Palm City, and service retrofitted ductwork in historic Stuart homes. We diagnose the root cause of failures to restore permanent, reliable indoor comfort.

🌧️ Climate Reality Check: High Water Table & Humidity Control

Heavy summer downpours and high local water tables create extreme indoor humidity loads. We size variable-speed inverter equipment and elevated hurricane pads so the system keeps up with the humidity load, and the outdoor unit sits above standing water.

After 5 PM weekdays and on Saturdays & Sundays (8 AM–7 PM), our on-call technicians provide emergency repair service ($169 diagnostic; $129 for members). What areas do you serve on the Treasure Coast?

A/C Now LLC serves the region from Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to Stuart and Port St. Lucie. We cover both Martin County and St. Lucie County for residential and commercial HVAC service. Call (772) 521-3568 to confirm availability in your neighborhood.

How often should I service my AC?

In Florida's hot, humid climate, HVAC systems should be professionally serviced at least twice per year — once before the summer cooling season (spring) and once before the winter heating season (fall). Twice-yearly tune-ups prevent breakdowns, extend system life, and maintain manufacturer warranties. A/C Now LLC's Comfort Shield Protection Plan starts at $155/year and includes precision cleanings.

Do you work on commercial HVAC systems?

Yes. A/C Now LLC is a licensed commercial HVAC contractor serving condo associations, HOA communities, office buildings, retail spaces, and restaurants throughout the corridor from Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to Stuart and Port St. Lucie. We handle rooftop package units, commercial split systems, multi-zone air handlers, and commercial preventive maintenance agreements. Learn more on our Commercial HVAC page.

One of my mini-split heads stopped cooling but the others still work. What does that mean?

Almost always a fault in that zone rather than the whole system — a loaded filter or coil on that head, a blocked condensate drain, a stuck indoor fan, or a failed sensor. Because each head is independently controlled, the rest of the system keeps running normally, and that in itself narrows the diagnosis considerably.

Are ductless systems more expensive to repair than central AC?

Usually not. Fan motors, sensors and control boards are comparable in cost, and because the system is zoned, a fault often takes out one head instead of the whole house. The exception is the inverter board, which costs more than a conventional contactor or capacitor — though it also fails far less often.
