For homeowners across the Treasure Coast and northern Palm Beach County, residential air conditioning is not a seasonal convenience — it runs most of the year, and it has to be reliable through the worst of the summer. A/C Now provides complete residential AC service: repair, installation, maintenance, and everything in between.
We built A/C Now around residential comfort done right for Florida's climate. That means prompt repair when a system quits in the heat, careful sizing of the system to your home before every replacement, and honest diagnostics that tell you what your system actually needs.
🌧️ Climate Reality Check: High Water Table & Humidity Control
Long, humid summers make moisture removal as important as cooling, and an oversized system that cools fast and shuts off leaves the air damp. Downpours on ground with a high water table can also leave a unit at grade standing in water; an elevated equipment stand, which A/C Now installs, lifts it clear.
A/C Now LLC is a locally owned, licensed HVAC contractor (License #CAC1820068) serving the region from Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to Stuart and Port St. Lucie. Call (772) 521-3568; weekday calls before 5 PM get same-day service when available.
AC & Heating Repairs
What is AC repair on the Treasure Coast? AC repair is the professional diagnosis and restoration of a residential or commercial air conditioning system. A/C Now LLC, a Florida-licensed air conditioning contractor, works on most major brands of central air, heat pump and ductless equipment across St. Lucie, Martin and northern Palm Beach counties.
When your air conditioning fails, getting it running again is the priority. Work ranges from quick diagnostic calls and minor component fixes to major repairs, and the trucks carry the most common failure parts, so most repairs are finished on the first visit.

AC Installation & Replacement
Upgrading to a high-efficiency HVAC system can lower your monthly energy bills. We size every replacement to your home with a load calculation rather than matching the old unit's tonnage, for more even cooling across all rooms.

- 10-Year Manufacturer Parts Warranty (Register Within 60 Days)
HVAC Preventative Maintenance
South Florida's heat keeps your air conditioner running most of the day. A dirty coil and a clogged filter make it work harder and cost more to run. Our 21-point tune-ups keep your unit running cleanly and catch worn parts before they fail in the heat.

Leaving for the Summer? A Snowbird AC Checklist
Leaving your Florida home vacant for the hot, humid summer months carries real risk if your HVAC system fails. Indoor humidity that climbs above 60% in a closed-up house invites mold, and mold damage is expensive to put right.
Before you leave, clear the condensate line, put in a fresh filter, and raise the thermostat to an away setting, or use its humidity setting, instead of turning the system off, so it keeps drying the house. A float switch that shuts the system down if the drain pan fills is cheap protection, and a neighbor or home-watch service checking the house after storms helps. A/C Now also offers snowbird checks; ask when you book.
Maintenance Comfort Shield Protection Plans
Prevent expensive system breakdowns, save 15% on all repairs, and waive your diagnostic fee when we complete the repair with our annual protection plans starting at just $155/year.
HOA Condenser Screening & Clearances
Planning a decorative screen or new shrubs around the outdoor unit? Check your HOA's rules for the screen itself, and leave the clearances your unit's installation manual calls for so it can breathe.

Climate & Comfort Add-ons
Some spaces need something other than a standard central system. In condo buildings we replace the vertical, stacked units, and for a garage, addition, or sunroom we install ductless mini-splits that need no new ductwork.
Indoor Air Quality
Improve air quality with high-MERV media filters, UV sanitizing lamps, and whole-house dehumidifier installations.
Storm-Season Tie-Downs
Hurricane tie-down straps and elevated stands for your outdoor unit, installed on request ahead of storm season.
Pool Heaters
Pool heat pump sales, installation, repair and seasonal service to keep the water comfortable through more of the year.
Quiet Comfort Decibel Soundboard
AC condensers often sit right next to pool decks, patios, or bedroom windows. The buttons below play a simulated tone for each type, a rough way to compare the steady drone of a single-stage unit with a variable-speed unit at low speed.
Standard Single-Stage
~74 DECIBELSRuns at full capacity whenever it is on, then shuts off, so each cycle starts with a contactor click and a steady drone. Many single-stage condensers are rated in the low-to-mid 70s dB.
Variable-Speed Inverter
~55 DECIBELSFollows the cooling load, spending much of its time at low speed, where many models are rated in the mid-50s dB. Full speed is louder.
Where Ductless Fits in a Home
A properly sized central system cools most Treasure Coast homes well, but many of them have one room that never keeps up. A converted garage, an added Florida room, a bedroom over the garage, a workshop or an in-law suite that was never on the original duct plan will fight a central system no matter how much capacity you throw at it.
A ductless head solves that room without touching the rest of the house. It runs on its own thermostat, so you are not overcooling four other rooms to make one comfortable, and it does not require opening walls or ceilings to extend duct that may not have the static pressure to spare. If the room was on the original duct plan and simply is not getting its share of air, we will tell you so and repair or modify the duct instead. A mini-split is the right tool for spaces the ductwork was never designed to reach, not a patch for an undersized system.
Frequently Asked Questions — HVAC Services on the Treasure Coast
What residential AC services does A/C Now provide?
The full range — repair, high-efficiency system installation and replacement, preventive maintenance tune-ups, indoor air quality solutions, and pool heat pump service.
Who pulls the permit when my AC is replaced?
We do. On a system replacement, A/C Now pulls the permit and hauls away the old equipment, and the new system is sized to your home with a load calculation rather than matched to the old unit's tonnage.
What should I expect on a service call?
An EPA 608 certified technician who works for A/C Now, never a subcontractor, handles your call. You get a flat-rate quote before any repair begins, common repair parts ride on the truck so most problems are fixed in a single visit, and new equipment is covered by a 10-year manufacturer parts warranty once it is registered within 60 days of install. No surprises — just precise, dependable service.
Does A/C Now LLC offer same-day AC repair?
Yes. A/C Now LLC offers same-day service, when available, Monday through Friday for repair calls received before 5 PM ($89 diagnostic; $39 for Comfort Shield members). After 5 PM on weekdays and on weekends, our on-call technician provides emergency service only ($169 diagnostic; $129 for members). Non-emergency weekend requests are held for the next business day. Call (772) 521-3568, 8 AM–7 PM.
Is the diagnostic fee waived if I replace the system?
Yes. The standard $89 diagnostic fee is waived when the visit leads to a system replacement. Estimates on a new system are free either way. Comfort Shield members also have the diagnostic waived when a repair is completed.
What areas do you serve on the Treasure Coast?
A/C Now LLC serves the region from Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to Stuart and Port St. Lucie. We cover both Martin County and St. Lucie County, plus northern Palm Beach County, for residential and commercial HVAC service. Call (772) 521-3568 to confirm availability in your neighborhood.
How often should I service my AC?
Plan on servicing the system at least twice a year: a spring tune-up before the cooling season starts and a fall visit once the hardest months of running are over. Twice-yearly tune-ups help catch worn parts early and keep the system running cleanly. A/C Now LLC's Comfort Shield Protection Plan starts at $155/year and includes at least two tune-ups a year.
Do you work on commercial HVAC systems?
Yes. A/C Now LLC holds a Florida Class A air conditioning contractor license, which covers commercial work, and serves businesses and commercial properties from Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to Stuart and Port St. Lucie. That includes rooftop package unit repair and replacement, rooftop installs that need a crane, and maintenance agreements for commercial customers. Learn more on our Commercial HVAC page.
Is a mini-split better than extending my existing ductwork?
It depends on what the existing system has left to give. Extending duct into an addition often drops airflow and comfort in the rooms already on that trunk, and many systems have no static pressure to spare. Where that is the case a mini-split is both cheaper and better; where the duct can genuinely carry it, we will tell you that instead.
Will one mini-split cool my whole house?
Usually not. A head cools the zone it is mounted in, so one properly sized head can sometimes carry a small, open-plan condo, but a house with separate bedrooms needs more than one. Whole-home ductless means a multi-zone system with a head in each area, which is a real option in a house with no ductwork at all, but for a home that already has working duct it is rarely the economical choice.
